The OP Church Caring Ministry is a web of programs that
seek to help our immediate community needs.
Below you can find information about the programs and services offered. Food Pantry

Our food pantry is a fully-stocked Harvester's agency. Anyone in need can have access to the pantry through an appointment. Call 913-634-4607 to secure an appointment.
Volunteer at the pantry:
On Thursday morning help us pack and deliver food to assisted living homes and low-income housing facilities.
Home Furnishings

OP Church offers clothing and home furnishings such as bedding, appliances, lamps, TVs, furniture, and more.
Call 913-634-4607 for more information, or to volunteer for pick-up or deliveries.
Community Service Hours

If you need to complete community service hours, OP Church has projects available through appointment.
Most community service hours are available during the week, Call 913-634-4607 to make a community service appointment.
Thanksgiving Baskets
Secondary Title
Through this program, church members sponsor Thanksgiving dinners for families who would otherwise go without.
To sponsor a family's Thanksgiving dinner, sign up in the church lobby on a Sunday morning in the weeks prior to Thanksgiving.
To confidentially request a Thanksgiving dinner, sign up in the church lobby or call 913-634-4607.
Christmas Dinner & Angel Tree

OP Church provides Christmas dinners and children's gifts to families who would otherwise go without. You can sponsor Christmas dinner or gifts by signing up in the church lobby on the Sunday mornings leading up to Christmas. At that time, you can also confidentially request dinner or children's Christmas gifts for a family.
