Community Baby Blessing is a special event that happens during worship service each year on Mother's Day.  We believe all babies are a precious gift from God and we enjoy celebrating them and saying a special prayer of blessing over them.

Summer in the Son is our children's camp for 3rd-6th graders. It's located at Tallgrass Christian Camp in Harveyville, Kansas. The week is packed with fun activities like swimming, archery, paddle-boating, talent shows, game nights, and much more!

We also present practical lessons from the Bible in ways that the kids can enjoy and understand. We have Bible class each day, Small Group time based on object lessons, campfire devotionals, and more. 

Summer in the Son is typically held the first full week of June.

This is a three-day VBS for kids that will turn 3 years old by July 1 of the current year through just completed 2nd grade. We'll have bible stories, energetic songs, crafts, games and creative snacks.

Each August we move the kids on up to their next class. We celebrate the relationships we've made over the past year and meet new teachers with giant smiles. 

Also on this Sunday, our former 5th grade friends graduate from OP Kids to OP Youth. As they begin their transition year, where they spend some time with us in Children's Ministry and some time in the Youth Group, we cover them in prayers and blessings, hugs and fist bumps for the next phase of their journey. We present them with a Bible in 2nd service and savor the milestones they accomplished and share with them our hopes and dreams for these pivotal Middle School years.

Each fall we host a giant block party! We have food trucks, inflatables, a DJ and lots fun games. Wear your costumes because included in the block party is a trunk-or-treat!
